What is "TheCompanyCartoon.TV"? TheCompanyCartoon.TV is a dedicated and unique site promoting quality standards of training in business and in the HRD, OD, training and development industry. It is designed for learning, coaching, mentoring and professional managers across all industry sectors. It is targeted at those who are serious about improving the quality of training and achieving excellence in learning in order to support organisational growth and sustainability. In today’s world, there is an ongoing need for information and idea sharing, which, if nurtured, can be developed into valuable organisational knowledge. However, just creating knowledge is not enough; it has to be used if it is to make a real difference to business and personal performance. This site offers a light-hearted look at the world of quality management and sustainable improvement and talks about principles from both ISO 10015+ advice and EFQM Excellence Framework. Does "TheCompany" really exist? No. However, do not be too surprised to see many aspects that you can relate to in companies that you know of or even work in. A little more about me... My name is Józefa Fawcett and "The Company Cartoon" is my brainchild - offering a great way to learn about quality management and sustainable improvement through the art of storytelling.
"I am an instructional designer, learning specialist, trainer and quality assessor, vocal coach and voice over. I am also involved in various European Commission projects to do with learning and have been working in the field of training and development for over 35 years. In 2009, I won a global HR excellence award, and am now a Judge for the UK Natioanl Training Awards too, how cool is that? I just love using learning 3.0 approaches to enhance learning and often lend my 'voice' to e-learning tutorials and short films."
